Vancouver Coastal Health, Vancouver Coastal Health Authority (website).

This website was developed by the Vancouver Coast Health Authority (VCH) in British Columbia to present information about CE principles and implementation in VCH. The website lists the primary strategies for CE used by VCH, including community health advisory committees, community partnerships, and community development and capacity-building. The VCH approach provides a useful example of a regional health planning structure developed to support CE of the public, health service providers and other stakeholders. Note that CE consultation reports are posted, describing the process for engagement and the results, including CE reports from the BC Conversation on Health Population Health Submission, the Access Community through English Program Review, Multicultural Mental Health Liaison Program Review, the Regional Chronic Disease Prevention and Management Strategy, and the Diabetes Self-Management Group – South Riverdale Community Health Centre. A dedicated webpage outlines VCH strategies and activities for engaging Aboriginal peoples in health service planning.
